RACISM STILL EXIST.
Do we still have racism?
So often when we say the word “racism” we mean different things. It is necessary, then, to define our terms. “Racism is community against people of particular racial group or ethnic more like a discrimination but this one goes further than discrimination “. It gets at the reality that racism is not just about personal feelings of prejudice. “Racism is different from racial prejudice, hatred, or discrimination. Racism involves one group having the power to carry out systematic discrimination through the institutional policies and practices of the society and by shaping the cultural beliefs and values that support those racist policies and practices”
It’s more than that.
Racism and its prejudice
Racism is also about the ability to make prejudice into policy like I said before. That’s what happened with anti-Black racism. Maybe we tend to confuse colorism with racism cause colorism refers to “Discrimination based on skin color, or shadeism, is a form of prejudice or discrimination in which people who share similar ethnicity traits or perceived race are treated differently based on the social implications that come with the cultural meanings that are attached to skin color” this one is quite different because it’s more of people shading their own color but enough about that rah rah talk which I don’t want to get involved with today.
It’s not just that a few white people didn’t like Black people, it’s that they put their hatred into law and widespread practice. What about you? How would you define racism? Well this is how I would describe it. Racism it’s not all about hating people because of their race we have racial discrimination, racial injustice, racial profiling, white privilege( The term “white privilege” also referred to as white-skin privilege can help us to unpack these systemic inequities. Put simply, white privileges are the unearned privileges that white individuals experience on a daily basis because they are not subjected to racism. These benefits are often “invisible” to white individuals because they feel like “a given,” like something that everyone experiences).
Can our system finally get rid of racism?
Racism is not only an individual ideology but an entire system of behaviours, ideas, practices, conditions, structures, policies and processes that maintain racial advantage.
Though I won’t much into into it Let’s take a look at racism from three interrelated levels: individual, institutional/systemic and everyday racism, cause that’s why it’s mostly operated.
If you think they dont exist, you had better not go any further reading this blog page because it goes deep cause well it’s deeper than that.

| It’s not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. |
Racism is not old news, happens everyday and it wont stop
Soo many people say “Oh, Racism is old news it’s all in the past, can we just get over it” get over what? I mean I just want to know, when did racism fade away like a disease? When did it end? Time? Date? Did it get wiped off by rain? I just want to be sure cause I’ve got a different story for it. The fact that we have to debate whether or not racism still exists is proof that it does! you can’t talk about “white supremacy without racism” . We have truly evil people in this world. The system is too Passive on those who commit evil acts. There’s not much when it comes to severe consequences for them. It worries me when people say to me that they didn’t know racism still exists, I can’t go two months without somebody making jokes about my race, making racial slurs or being blatantly straight out racist. Take that in.
Although maybe you guy’s hate to admit it, my fellow African people I stand corrected. Black people can be racial prejudice too. Black people can't be racist credcando comes from the view point of a victimized race, black people hate milk people because of the injustices of the past but who would blame them? they see racism as the acts of horror and torture that our people were put through for decades. "We as black people can't be racist because we were slaves, we were put through hell during apartheid" and that's why people believe that black people can't be racist but the truth is the first few generations born after slavery could be racial prejudice not racist.
Does colour describe us
The word ‘racism’ is often interchanged with ‘prejudice’, however unlike prejudice, racism is organised and persistent. Racism is not only an individual ideology but an entire system of behaviours, ideas, practices, conditions, structures, policies and processes that maintain racial advantage.
The younger and newer generation of black people is very much prejudice. We grew up learning to be liberated, we are newer and more conscious group of black people, the more liberated we become the more knowledge of our true and hidden history we uncover the more we realize we are a stronger. Fight me if I’m wrong.
Getting rid of racism
But, let’s face fact’s I think it’s time that our kids are taught about our real history. Slavery and racism shouldn’t be the core of our history. It’s honestly a systematic brain wash programming us into believing we were nothing but slaves where as we are more than that. Our ancestors were kings and queens , artists ,healers, creatives , inventors and so much more to be honest. Put some respect on our name as Africans!
