Ghosted 101
Reasons behind Ghosting
At some point we’ve all been ghosted, some even managed to find closure but most of us we never really managed to have enough audacity to confront our soo called “ghosters”.
Even the one’s who are the most known for ghosting, some say it’s because they’ve also been there and wants someone to feel how it feels like to be ghosted.
According to the two survey’s conducted in 2018, around 25% of people have been ghosted at some point.
Most of us were ghosted for the most stupid and hilarious reasons but some of us were ghosted because of the thing’s we can’t change about our self and for some of were ghosted because of God who knows why and some were ghosted because the other person felt like they were going to ghosted first soo they played the first move but It has been recorded that out of 10 people 8/10 have been ghosted and the remaining too might get ghosted along the way.
Beside all that, people ghost for all sorts of reasons that can vary in complexity:
Self-Care: If someone is being toxic, this can be in a relationship or friendship or whatsoever if that specific person is having negative effect on your quality of life cutting off ties and contacts can seem like the only way without the fall-out of breaking up.
Fear: Fear of being ghosted first or of the unknown because with us humans, everything is possible we can laugh together now and tomorrow we will be telling a different story, this can be because you are scared of breakup or of trying something

Although ghosting can occur in many relationships, it can also happen at work though many people don’t bring it up. Your co-worker can also ghost you due to receiving a new promotion or switches positions.
Someone once said “Imagine being ghosted by someone who started the conversation first” it’s ridiculous ain’t it? It’s almost like taking someone from happiness to sadness. Ghosting can leave you with many questions, unanswered questions by the way especially when it comes to relationships for example if you say “i love you” and they didn’t say it back and just went MIA you many have been ghosted.
We can all say being ghosted hurts, its like being left at the altar without being told the reason and none of us want to be left at the altar.
Ghosting someone can also lead to depression and all sorts of mental health, it depends on how the person is coping with the situation. Ghosting someone ain’t a trend but the hyper-connectedness of online 21st-century has made it easier to stay connected and by default has made it more obvious when a relationship has abruptly ended.
Not all of us have managed to confront our so called “ghosters” and the first thing you should remember, whether you’ve been ghosted or are in the ghost question is the so called golden rule: treat others how you want to be treared but I’m here for everyone to share their stories under comment section ⬇️ how I wish I could share mine too but I’ve been ghosted a lot of times I’ve even lost count and I’ve also ghosted some other people as well. I guess it’s true when they say what goes around always comes back around.

I am so proud of you. This is really amazing, the working you doing is out of this world 🥺❤️ keep shining your light Hun ❤️
